Brackley Allotments Open Day

As part of National Allotment week, on Sunday 18 August 2019, Brackley Allotment Association is opening the gates on 3 of our sites, showing our plots, sharing our joy in gardening and communal endeavour to encourage everyone to grow food in their own gardens, balconies and backyards.

Allotments have many benefits. They bring people together and unite them through their shared love of low-cost, healthy fresh fruit and vegetables, physical exercise and social interaction. Our allotments are a valuable resource and we as individuals and as community groups take immense pride in their up keep and produce.

As allotment holders, we are already active in the local community, but we want to do more to improve the access to allotments for the residents of Brackley, by raising awareness of the many benefits of allotments, and to help ensure that these assets continue to be of benefit to local people..

Please join us on Sunday 18th August, 14:00 - 17:00.
